I was born in Hebron/Jordan. Educated and graduated from Amman/Jordan. Graduated in Journalism and Communication. I moved to Canada in 1987. I write poetry, short stories and articles. My first publication was in a book that Sarnia Writers published 2007, it is called "Ode to a Flattened Toad and other WIT stories", An informal History of Writers and Writing Past and Present in Sarnia-Lambton. Also, my work appeared in the Canadian Federation of Poets anthologies, Sounding the Seconds anthology, Verse Afire (TOPS) and Artists For A Better World anthology.
I am a supporting member of the League of Canadian Poets, the Canadian Federation of Poets, the Canadian Poetry Association, the Ontario Poetry Society, Artists For A Better World / California, and Writers in Transition (WIT) in Sarnia since 2006.
I published my first chapbook in November 2008 under
"ENTER MY HEART", Poems For The Soul; 50% of the proceeds from the sale go toward Breast Cancer Research, Cancer Research and the Canadian Cancer Society.
